According to british media, the richest man in England, Jim Ratcliffe, offered 2.3 billion euros to Roman Abramovich, for the purchase of Chelsea FC. The agreement was declined by the president and owner of the club.
Since 2003 with the reins of the Blues, the russian tycoon has invested more than 3.5 billion euros since then. Altogether 17 trophies, among them, five Premier League, one Champions League and one Europa League. The value of purchase of the club by businessman not exceeded 160 million euros.
The president of Chelsea is in Israel because of political tensions between Russia and the United Kingdom. Both countries do not pass through the best time, due to poisoning of spy Sergei Skripal.
