May 6, 2026

The World Cup is one of the biggest showcases for brands, and those who outfit the national teams gain unparalleled global media exposure.

The next competition will be even bigger, as it will feature a record number of teams: 48.

From Adidas to the relatively unknown 7Saber, sports brands will naturally be present at the tournament, also acting as technical sponsors of the national teams.

These contracts generate millions for the respective national football associations.

Who wins the World Cup of brands?

This was a survey conducted by the website MKT Esportivo. With 14 national teams, Adidas takes home the trophy for the most uniforms in this World Cup.

Among others, the German sports equipment giant ‘dresses’ major national teams such as Germany, Spain, and Argentina, but also the debutant team Curaçao.

Behind Adidas is rival Nike, with 12 national teams. The American manufacturer also has important national teams, first Brazil, then France and England.

The podium is completed by Puma, with 11 national teams, including Portugal and a good portion of the African contingent that will be present at the World Cup, such as Senegal and Egypt.
