Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United, and PSG: these are the football teams with the most profitable shirt sponsorship contracts for the 2025-2026 season, according to the ranking compiled by Finance Football.
These four European football giants each earn €70 million from their main sponsor, which appears on the front of the shirt.
Next year will bring changes as the deals with Real Madrid (with Fly Emirates) and Barcelona (Sportify) approach their final year. Will there be a change or a new deal? We’ll see.
Juventus jumps into the top 5
This list for next season also brings news. Italian team Juventus has reached a new agreement with the car manufacturer Jeep and will receive €69 million per season until 2028. In last year’s ranking, there were no Italian teams in the top 10. Juve thus surpassed clubs like Manchester City, whose sponsorship deal with Etihad Airways brings in €65 million per season. This is the same amount as the recent deal that German club Bayern Munich signed with T-Mobile, plus €15 million compared to the previous contract.
Even so, the club is launching an update with Etihad that could shatter all records.
Still in the Premier League, we found three times that they close the ranking. Liverpool and Arsenal receive €58.5 million per season from Standard Chartered and Fly Emirates, respectively.
Another English team is in 10th place: Tottenham collects €45 million per year from AIA.
Where is Chelsea?
For the second year in a row, Chelsea has no sponsorship on its shirt. But it’s not for lack of details. The London team, which recently won the FIFA Club World Cup, is negotiating a contract with Riyadh Air that could yield up to €75 million per year, making it the most lucrative deal in world football.
Riyadh Air already has a presence in football. It is the title sponsor of Spanish club Atlético de Madrid, to whom the Saudi airline pays €40 million per season.
