Adidas Secures Belgium National Team Sponsorship Through 2034

Amid the FIFA World Cup, the Royal Belgian Football Association (RBFA) and Adidas have announced an extension of their sponsorship agreement through 2034.

The partnership between the two parties began in 2015, although the sportswear manufacturer had previously supplied the Belgian national team during the 1980 European Championship in Italy and the 1986 FIFA World Cup in Mexico.

Under the renewed deal, Adidas will continue to provide kit and apparel not only for the senior national team but also for Belgium’s other national squads over the coming years.

Peter Willems, CEO of the Belgian Football Association, highlighted the importance of the long-term agreement.

“Sustainable partnerships are a key pillar of our strategy. The trust of a global benchmark brand like adidas, which is committed to working with our federation over the long term, is a strong confirmation that we are on the right path together,” said Willems.

Sam Handy, General Manager of Adidas Football, pointed to the success enjoyed by Belgium’s national teams while wearing the German brand’s kits.

“We were there when Belgium achieved its biggest successes, we created some iconic kits together, and above all, we have a lot of confidence in future generations Belgian Red Devils and Red Flames, and the development of football in Belgium,” Handy said.
