CazéTV has secured the exclusive broadcast rights for LaLiga matches in Brazil. The agreement is valid for six seasons, starting in 2026-2027 and ending in 2032.
As part of the agreement, announced over the weekend, CazéTV will broadcast Spanish league games on its YouTube channel, as well as supplementary content and highlights on its social media networks, including Instagram, where it has over 15 million followers.
The contract also includes the distribution of content on other platforms, such as Disney+ and Amazon Prime Video, with which CazéTV has agreements for the exhibition of its products.
CazéTV will prioritize Real Madrid and Barcelona games, where top Brazilian players like Vini Jr. and Raphinha play.
But the platform will also have space for other teams with Brazilians in their squad.
For LaLiga, in addition to the financial benefits, which were not disclosed, the choice of CazéTV will help reach younger audiences in the Brazilian market.
In the race for the rights to broadcast the top-tier Spanish football league games, Paramount and ESPN, which has held the rights in Brazil since 1995, were left out.
“Brazil is a strategic market for LaLiga, due to the passion of its fans, the cultural strength that football has in the country, and the deep connection that our competition has always had with Brazilian talent,” highlighted Javier Tebas, president of LALIGA.
“This alliance with CazéTV represents a very important opportunity to bring LaLiga even closer to Brazilian fans through a digital and far-reaching distribution model, aligned with how new audiences consume sports today,” added Tebas.
