Lazio has closed a sponsorship deal with Polymarket for its shirt, with the prediction platform paying at least US$22 million for this partnership with one of the leading Italian teams.
The agreement takes effect immediately and ends at the end of the 2027/2028 season, with an option for another year.
Since the 2022/2023 season, Lazio had no main sponsor, following the end of its agreement with Binance. The Rome team was the only one of the big clubs without a sponsor.
Who gets more?
Lazio should receive around €9 million per year, far from what its major Milan rivals receive (€30 million per year): Inter and AC Milan have agreements with the betting site Betsson and Emirates, respectively.
Juventus receives €19 million from Jeep, a Stellantis brand owned by the Agnelli family, who also own the Italian team. This amount will increase to €23 million next year.
Meanwhile, the champions Napoli have an agreement with MSC Cruises valued at €9 million. And Roma receives €8 million from Eurobet this year and €13 million next year.
The largest sponsorship contract of all is Cremonese’s: €42 million from Itainox.
