Top 10 Biggest Shirt Sponsorship Deals 2022-2023

Real Madrid continues in the top of the biggest shirt sponsorship deal in the 2022-2023 season, but the “merengues” are now with the company of PSG, according to the latest research from Finance Football.

The deal with Emirates gives to the current European Champions €70 million per season. That is the same amount that the French champions receive from the brand new contract with Qatar Airways, who replaced Accor from this season on (€65 million).

After reaching the Champions League final last season, Liverpool and Standard Chartered seal another sponsorship deal, with an importante upgrade in the value of the contract: from €47.5 million to almost €60 million per year. It’s the third best deal.

Behind the reds is Barcelona: the deal with Spotify is worthed €57.75 million per season. It’s important to notice that Spotify also gives his name to the iconic Camp Nou under the same comercial agreement.

In Manchester, both City and United have secured deals with Etihad and TeamViewer, respectively, with the same value: €55 million per year.

The teams in the Top 10 are from Premier League, with only onluy 4 exceptions: besides Real Madrid, Barcelona and PSG, one can find Bayern Munich in the 6th place. The deal with T-Mobile is valued now at €50 million, after the renewal of the contract.

The last 3 places of this ranking belong to the main teams of London: Arsenal (Emirates), Chelsea (Three) e Tottenham (AIA) have deals worth of 47.5 milhões per season.

€560 million in sponspor revenues

All together, the biggest sponsorship deals in the next season will give to 10 clubs an amount of almost €560 million.
