Florentino Pérez has launched his new term as president of Real Madrid with full force.
This week, the president of the Merengues celebrated two multi-million euro sponsorship deals with Adidas and Emirates, reinforcing the status of the Real Madrid shirt as the most valuable in the world.
The Madrid team will receive €125 million per year from the German sportswear manufacturer, in an eight-year contract totaling €1 billion.
As Pérez announced: “It’s the most important deal in the history of sport.”
At the same time, the leader of the Merengues also finalized a renewal with Emirates, extending the partnership with the Emirati airline until 2031. The deal is worth €500 million, or €100 million per season.
Joining these two sponsors is HP. The US computer manufacturer was the first brand to appear on the sleeve of the Real Madrid shirt. The agreement began in February 2024 and extends until the end of next season.
Florentino Pérez is probably already negotiating a renewal of the agreement, which is worth €70 million per season. Or he is actually looking for a new sponsor.
All things considered, Real Madrid manages to pocket almost €300 million per year just from the brands that appear on its shirt.
