Top 32 Most Valuable Football Clubs in Europe 2026

Real Madrid once again leads the ranking of the most valuable clubs in Europe.

The Merengues are valued at €7.73 billion, the highest value ever for a football club, according to Football Benchmark.

Real Madrid’s valuation grew by 23% compared to the previous edition. The analysis argues that this increase is due to high-level sporting performance, a strong commercial boost, and even the continued impact of the Santiago Bernabéu stadium renovation on ticket sales, commercial and other revenues.

Barcelona jumped to second place in the Football Benchmark ranking. The Catalan team is valued at €5.92 billion, 33% more than last year.

Barça registered the largest increase in absolute terms, at €1.46 billion, but the difference of almost €2 billion compared to their Madrid arch-rivals is striking.

Meanwhile, the two Manchester teams are presented with relatively stable values, slightly above the €5 billion mark. But there is an important change: for the first time, United is not in the top 3 of the Football Benchmark ranking, which is in its 11th edition.

Arsenal, on the other hand, climbed into the top 5 after winning the Premier League for the first time in 22 years.

Premier League Dominates

The ranking is dominated by English teams. Six of the 10 most valuable teams are from the Premier League, including Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea. In total, there are nine English clubs among the 32 most valuable.

In addition to Real Madrid and Barcelona, two other non-English teams are in the top 10: Bayern Munich of Germany, with a valuation of €4.72 billion, up 10%; And PSG from France, valued at €4.53 billion.

There are seven Italian teams, the second most represented country, in a group led by Inter Milan (€2.14 billion), which appears only in 12th position.

The first team outside the Big-5 is Benfica, in 21st place. The Reds are valued at €756 million, about 10 times less than Real Madrid.

Outside the major leagues, we also have Galatasaray, PSV Eindhoven, FC Porto, Feyenoord, and Ajax.
