Corinthians secure new shirt sponsorship deal with Shopee following betting ban

Corinthians

Corinthians have secured a new front-of-shirt sponsorship deal with Shopee, an online shopping platform, in an agreement that runs until the end of the season.

Shopee replaces Esportes da Sorte on the front of the Brazilian club’s shirt following the ban on online gambling and betting companies in the country, which came into effect at the beginning of the month.

The brand made its debut on Corinthians’ shirt during this weekend’s derby against Palmeiras, which ended in a 4-1 defeat for Timão at the Nubank Parque in São Paulo.

Corinthians had previously reached an agreement with artificial intelligence company Jota to display its logo on the lower front of the team’s shirt until the end of 2026.

The Shopee deal runs until December, with nine rounds remaining in the Brazilian Championship.

In addition to shirt exposure, the agreement includes advertising on the LED boards at the Neo Química Arena and across the club’s digital platforms. It also provides for discounts on Corinthians shirts sold through Shopee’s platform.

“Shopee is a global company and a giant in its sector, and we are delighted with this partnership. Its arrival enhances our brand and strengthens our relationship with our fans,” said club president Osmar Stábile.
