Nottingham Forest have agreed a new three-year front-of-shirt sponsorship deal with Marex worth £25 million, according to reports in the English media.
Forest are the latest Premier League club to replace their shirt sponsor ahead of the introduction of a ban on gambling companies appearing on the front of matchday shirts.
Under the agreement, Marex will become the English club’s principal partner and exclusive provider of foreign exchange and other financial services.
“Marex is an ambitious, global business with a strong reputation for excellence and performance,” Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis said, describing the agreement as an “another important step in the continued growth of our club”.
“Those qualities reflect our own ambitions for Nottingham Forest. We look forward to working together and building a successful relationship,” he added.
The club said it will provide further information to supporters who wish to have the new sponsor’s logo added to shirts they have already purchased.
The Premier League returns this weekend, with Nottingham Forest beginning their campaign at home to Leeds on Saturday.
