A research made by Finance Football shows the annual salaries of all the head coaches that will play the UEFA Euro-2016, in France. Roy Hodgson (England) is the best paid, with earnings of €5 million per year.
Finance Foobtall’s ranking also reveals that Antonio Conte (in charge of Italy national team) is paid €4,6 million per year by Italian Federation, while Fatih Terim (Turkey) is the third highest earner at Euro-2016, with an annual salary of €3,5 million.
There are more surprises, tough. Do you know that there is a head coach who is working for free? Yeah, his name is Leonid Slutsky. Slutsky is responsible for Russian national team. The most curious thing about this: Slutsky’s predecessor, Fabio Capello, was once the highest paid in the world.
As far as Bernd Storck (Hungria) is concerned, the only information we got was this one from Hungarian Football Federation’s spokesman: “The data you are requesting is not a public data. What I can tell you about it is that it meets the international standards or is a little below them”.
